Understanding the difference between e-commerce in the Blue Plan and the other options.
Whether you're trying to make an online store, blog, or standard business website, there is a right plan for you.
The Blue Plan, offers the ability to define products, offer them in a store and manage the collection and delivery cycle, manage the available quantities. You can sell physical products or digital assets that your customers can download. You'll be able to manage the shipping rules by zone both domestically and internationally. You'll be able to offer online or in person classes or manage events and sell access to the events with electronic tickets. In one feature of the ecommerce platform, you'll be able to sell a timed or per-unit subscription and bundle access to content or classes while managing class schedules, attendance and overflow. You get all this functionality while allowing you to choose a beautiful theme, add content, and market your site hassle free.
The Red Plan is an amazing plan to expand on your concept and build a beautiful theme, add content, and market your site hassle free also. It's easily upgraded to an e-commerce capable site. Please discuss pricing with me at that time. You get your best value when going to a Blue Plan if your timeline to go to e-commerce is months rather than years. At anytime, it is possible to connect a PayPal account to a non-e-commerce site. The limitations are that you can't control your inventory and the entire e-commerce life cycle is manual.
Finally, the Purple Plan uses Google Sites as the design environment. There some cool ways to integrate your site with Google Forms and other standard Google Workspace features. Even PayPal is an option with the limitation of the inability to control inventory and the e-commerce life cycle.

For e-commerce stores, Wix Payments takes a percentage of all card transactions, 2.9% plus 30 cents. If you choose another payment processor, there will be additional charges to be considered.

In this step we do the search engine optimization, link to Google Business profile and connect the e-commerce component to your bank account. The "new you" is ready for success. Even though you are launched, you may still need support. I will be available as needed!
Discovery Session
The discovery session is the most important meeting we will have to understand your business. What will we do? We will go over your branding, color schemes, fonts and tone of voice the digital experience will set. We will go over the products or services your wish to sell or advertise. If you have existing brochures, artwork, newsletters, icons and images this can be gathered as collateral to use to build or adapt your new website/app. We can look at your marketing calendar to show the past and planned future marketing events and how you are "seen" commercially. We will look at your competitors to help peg ourselves against them and ahead of them! To be successful, I am doing everything to get into the wheelhouse of your business, service or product offering. We will do short exercises together that will help me use technology to represent you and your customers and help you build your business. You will receive a report that summarizes my understanding of what we discussed. It will serve as the blueprint and foundation for the future work we will do together; should you choose to do so. I use tools such as Miro to capture your input and use it to evolve the design. Regardless of whether you are starting fresh or morphing an existing website or mobile app to become the "new you", going through the deliberate pouring of the foundation is quintessential to being successful. You will be successful. Let me take the lead! This session is offered for a nominal fee. It's not an hourly rate but a value that you will receive. Even if you decide you will not engage my services to build your digital experience, you will be able to use the output from the session to achieve your goals of expanding your business. You get the best value from the session when continuing to work with me, as the initial fee is applied to your project as a credit. You will get an estimate of the cost for your project within one week of the discovery session. I have packages that encompass either a full e-commerce experience or a more simple experience without the e-commerce aspect. You choose! If your vision is larger than the out-of-the box offers, I can custom quote. A custom quote will be necessary if you include a mobile app in the offerings you want to build. Google Sites is a web page creation tool included as part of the free, web-based Google Docs Editors suite offered by Google. The service also includes Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Drawings, Google Forms, and Google Keep. If you want to collect content on your website Google Forms would be the right tool to use.
